Friends of the MNLCT
We are excited about the work we do and how the lives of newcomers are positively impacted each and every day. This is why we have made it our mission to walk with newcomers.
With every step taken, the Mennonite New Life Centre is there as newcomers participate in the economic, cultural and social aspects of life in Canada. It has been our role in the community for over 30 years to welcome and engage newcomers, to support wellbeing throughout the integration process and to provide a place of welcome where newcomers to Canada can build a home for themselves and their family.
You can join us in the journey of supporting newcomer individuals, families and entire communities. You can help them share their depth of experiences, knowledge and talent and make a difference for a welcoming and inclusive Canada.
The Mennonite New Life Centre of Toronto is a registered Canadian charity. Charitable registration # 107691149RR0001.
Community members are at the heart of the Mennonite New Life Centre. Their participation helps shape our work by providing sound governance and accountability. Their enthusiasm and ideas reflect in every new project, building bridges between newcomers and the community at large.
Making a Financial Gift
Maple keys carry the seeds that root and grow into Canada’s proud maple trees. Your support today, like a maple key, can help establish the roots of new Canadians, and grow a strong and inclusive Canada. A donation to the Centre ensures that we continue to provide meaningful services to newcomers.
Community Impact Award
Supporting the advancement of newcomer communities is a work that requires a good dose of effort, perseverance, innovative thinking and relationship building. Throughout the years, the Mennonite New Life Centre has met extraordinary individuals whose commitment has reshaped the lives of newcomers. Each year, we honour them with the Community Impact Award.
The contributions of newcomers to Canada are many and reflect the capacity of newcomers to share with their communities their depth of experiences, knowledge and talent.
