#AskMNLCT: Coping with Stress

Our session on Coping with Stress was on November 10, 2020. Specialists from our MNLCT’s Mental Health Team talked about how to deal with stress and how their successful LIGHTS program is helping individuals cope with traumatic experiences.

Language Instruction Giving Hope to Trauma Survivors (LIGHTS) is an alternative language program that provides functional English as a second or additional language instruction to vulnerable newcomers who experience emotional, cognitive, or academic barriers to learning traditional English classes.
