Aurora House

Aurora House

Aurora House, under the stewardship of MNLCT, is a transitional home providing safe housing and wraparound support for women-identifying individuals and their children who have experienced gender-based violence, exploitation, or human trafficking. Since 2016, over 40 individuals have found safety and stability through this vital service. Contributions help sustain housing, provide essential services, and support the expansion of this life-changing program.

MNLCT’s Housing Initiative is a bold new effort to develop permanent, affordable housing for newcomer families facing housing insecurity in Toronto. By creating safe, stable homes, we aim to support long-term community integration and well-being. We invite donations and partnerships to help bring this vision to life and create lasting impact for generations to come.

Community Health Services

MNLCT’s Community Health Services provide barrier-free access to primary care, health and wellness workshops, and support navigating the health care system—ensuring newcomers can access the care they need to thrive. Become a Community Member

If you support our mission, become a Friend of the Mennonite New Life Centre and register as a community member of our organization.
Who can be a community member?
  • Individuals over the age of 18 or other organizations or institutions previously authorized by their governing body.
  • Candidates must agree with MNLCT purpose, vision, and mission.
  • Candidates must be formally approved by MNLCT Board of Directors before becoming members.
Terms of Membership
  • To apply, complete, sign and send us a membership form;
  • The board may from time to time fix annual dues or fees payable by the members. Such fees or dues may be waived at the discretion of the board. Those admitted to membership will continue to be members without further application or admission to membership until resignation or termination.
What are the benefits of membership?
  • Eligible to attend, speak and vote at the MNLCT Annual General Meeting.
  • Eligible to be nominated to serve on the MNLCT Board of Directors and participate in all Board Committees.
  • Receive MNLCT communications and attend our community building events and gatherings.
