What Were You Wearing:
The Untold Collection

Event Date: May 20, 2026

The Untold Collection is an evening of fashion, storytelling, and advocacy in support of Aurora House, a safe, family-friendly home in East Toronto for women and children rebuilding after human trafficking and violence. Join us on May 20 at the El Mocambo for a powerful night that brings the community together to challenge harmful narratives and stand behind survivors.

About the Event

The Untold Collection is a fashion experience reimagined, where style, storytelling, and community come together for a night that actually means something.

Hosted at the iconic El Mocambo in downtown Toronto, the evening invites guests into an immersive space shaped by fashion, art, and advocacy. This year’s theme, Art Gallery Couture, encourages guests to show up in their own version of high fashion, bold, expressive, and completely their own.

The night features catering by celebrity Canadian chef Mark McEwan, a live DJ, red carpet arrivals, and a series of powerful moments woven throughout the experience.

Guests will move through the Survivor Staircase, where the names of survivors are honoured, and engage with storytelling installations that share real experiences, accompanied by recreations of the clothing worn at the time of sexual violence and abuse, directly challenging harmful assumptions around consent.

The evening also includes a brief keynote from survivor, advocate, former resident of Aurora House, and host of this event, Cassandra Harvey, along with a live auction featuring prizes generously donated by community partners.

A cash bar will be available for General Admission guests, with an open bar included for VIP ticket holders.

Tickets are limited, with bundle options currently available for a short time, including a BOGO General Admission offer and corporate packages for both VIP and General Admission.

Come dressed up, bring your people, and be part of a night that blends energy, conversation, and real support for survivors in our community.

About Aurora House

Aurora House is a safe, family-friendly transitional home in East Toronto for women, many of them mothers , rebuilding their lives after human trafficking and gender-based violence.

Founded in 2016, it was created to address a critical gap between emergency shelter and independent living. While emergency supports are often short-term, recovery takes time. Aurora House provides that time, along with stable housing and tailored, individualized supports that help residents heal, regain independence, and move forward with dignity.
