- Getting around the city: Transportation guides (Google Maps, Transit)
- Essential weather apps
Session 2, August 15
- Your city guide: Events, communication, and culture apps (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Eventbrite, etc.)
- Navigating official resources: Key government websites and phone numbers (libraries, volunteer.ca, Canada.ca; emergency services, non-emergency services information, health advice, etc.)
- Mastering Adobe Acrobat
Session 3, August 22
- Microsoft Office: Key skills for success and using authenticator apps
- Banking from your phone: Online banking apps, including how to send money to other countries
- Job searching platforms (Kibbi App, Indeed, Job Bank)
- MNLCT Community of Care app: Your gateway to community and healthy mental well-being
