ED Corner | January 2025

Greetings,

This time of year always catches many of us off-guard. The season seems to come faster and faster each year. Yet, it mostly comes with open arms and a feeling of warmth for the expectation of giving, receiving and togetherness.

This is a time to focus on what matters to us the mostOur family, friends, coworkers and the community. We are here on this planet together and rely heavily upon one another, let’s make the most of it. Seeing the quality of life is sometimes not easy, especially when you are trying to make good moves in a new country with new surroundings. With the help of those who care, we can begin to see light at the end of the tunnel.

We can definitely overcome these challenges together. We may have to work hard on our goals, but we can still make a difference for each other and especially for those who need us.

We are helping through our work at MNLCT. We have taken a stronger stand in helping people earn money, acquire training to help in employment and assist those who need job placement. These additions in service will help to keep food on the table, stay in stable housing and achieve the goal of providing for a family. We are strengthening our Mental Health department to provide counselling and guidance in case you’re having a tough time.

The season of giving is upon us. During these times, many families are getting together to celebrate the holidays or to just get together to strengthen their bonds. We are here for you.
