An evening in support of survivors of human trafficking and gender-based violence

One night. One ticket. A chance to change someone’s life. Cassandra’s story is one of strength, survival, and hope.
We’re honoured to feature Cassandra Harvey, a survivor of human trafficking, fierce advocate for women, and former resident of Aurora House. With strength and purpose, Cassandra has transformed her trauma into action—and soon she’ll begin law school with a mission to change the system for those who share her lived experience.
At Sip & Support, Cassandra will share her personal story and her vision for a future where survivors have safety, dignity, and power.
Feel Good. Do Good. A Night Out That Changes Lives – Sip & Support for Aurora House
Looking for a night out in Toronto that actually means something?
Sip & Support is your opportunity to enjoy a memorable evening, with food, drink, music, and conversation, while helping sustain one of the city’s most vital services for survivors of human trafficking and gender-based violence.
Hosted by MNLC on behalf of Aurora House, a transitional housing program, this event raises critical funds to provide long-term housing and trauma-informed care for women and children rebuilding their lives after exploitation.
Whether you’re passionate about women’s rights, anti-trafficking efforts, or simply want to give back in a meaningful way, this event lets you do good while enjoying a great evening out.
What to Expect:
- Guest speakers including Cassandra Harvey, a former resident of Aurora House and now a fierce advocate
- Silent auction featuring items from local businesses and artists
- Live music, drinks, and light refreshments
- A chance to connect with like-minded community members who care about real change
All proceeds go directly to the operations and sustainability of Aurora House, helping ensure that safe, stable housing and support remain available to survivors who need it most.
Don’t just go out. Make it count.
Secure your ticket today and be part of an evening that truly changes lives.
