Starting this November, we will be offering monthly Employment Law Info Sessions to help you better understand your rights and navigate employment-related issues.
These sessions will take place in a hybrid format, allowing participants to join either online via Zoom or in person at our Keele office.
The first session is scheduled for Monday, November 18 from 12 PM to 2 PM.
And the second session is scheduled for Thursday, December 12 from 12 PM to 2 PM.
The November session will cover the topics of:
- Where to find free or subsidized legal support
- Understanding your rights to get paid (even without a work permit)
- Handling overtime disputes
Rika Sawatsky, an experienced Employment Lawyer, will join us as a special guest speaker to share her expertise on these topics.
