Bridge to Employment in Media and Communications (BEMC) prepares internationally trained media, marketing, and communications professionals to find a meaningful career in Ontario in the fields of broadcast media, videography, digital marketing, social media marketing, communications, PR and journalism and professional writing.

This information session will be facilitated via zoom video conferencing, and there will be plenty of time to ask questions.

BEMC is an Ontario Bridge Training Program (OBTP) funded by Employment Ontario and delivered by MNLCT. There are two cohorts each year (in Fall and Winter/Spring).

Please note: All our services, classes, and appointments will be closed from Friday, July 31, to Monday, August 3. We will resume on Tuesday, August 4.

You can now reach us through our new program emails below:

Our office hours remain the same: You can drop in at our Keele location (2737 Keele St, units 9, 111, 112, North York) or Finch location (1122 Finch Ave West, Unit 1, North York):

  • Settlement staff are available onsite at 2737 Keele St Units 111 & 112 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday to Fridays to answer questions and provide guidance. Wi-fi is now available.
  • Community Health Services are available at 1122 Finch W Unit 1 on Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. The HAP clinic is closed for the summer but our Health Navigator can provide guidance in accessing health services.
  • LINC classes are closed for the summer. Registration will begin in August for the fall semester.
  • Mental Health and BREM staff are available by appointment only.
