BESIP New Cohort Start

2024 Spring Cohort

BESIP new cohort will start on Monday, April 22, 2024.

The Bridge to Employment in Services for Immigrant Populations (BESIP) program provides internationally educated professionals with entry to a wide variety of positions in human/social/community services. You can transfer your skills from your previous education and/or experience to a fulfilling career helping others in need.

BESIP is an Ontario Bridge Training Program (OBTP) funded by Employment Ontario and delivered by MNLCT. There are two cohorts each year (in Fall and Winter/Spring).

You can now reach us through our new program emails below:

Our office hours remain the same: You can drop in at our Keele location (2737 Keele St, units 9, 111, 112, North York) or Finch location (1122 Finch Ave West, Unit 1, North York):

  • Settlement staff are available onsite at 2737 Keele St Units 111 & 112 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday to Fridays to answer questions and provide guidance. Wi-fi is now available.
  • Community Health Services are available at 1122 Finch W Unit 1 on Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm. The HAP clinic is closed for the summer but our Health Navigator can provide guidance in accessing health services.
  • Mental Health and BREM staff are available by appointment only.
