How to Understand and Manage Diabetes

Date: Tuesday, February 25

Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Location: In-person (Finch office: 1122 Finch Ave West, Unit 1) or Online via Zoom

We’re excited to bring you our How to Understand and Manage Diabetes workshop, where you’ll learn about:

  • Understanding diabetes (defining different types of diabetes, risk factors, signs and symptoms, causes, and treatment of high and low blood sugar, when to seek help)
  • Managing diabetes (healthy eating habits, physical activity, monitoring blood sugar levels, foot care, eye care, and stress management)

We are happy to address concerns of diabetes management.

We can provide a holistic head-to-toe assessment after the workshop and connect you with community resources (clinics, diabetes education programs, foot clinics, and eye clinics).
